Super Saturday - Act IV

The Annual Catmull Christmas Party.
Next, we were off racing to get to the family party on time. Stopped at Target to get our "White Elephant" gifts and scream into the driveway just 15 min late.
The theme to the party was It's A Wonderful Christmas Party - tied to the movie "Its a Wonderful Life". We could come dressed as our favorite character in the movie. I dubbed to come as the drunken pharmacist but ran out of time to get a costume. No problem, my brother-in-law took the role.
By far was Grandma's costume. She came dressed as George Bailey's mother.

Dinner was a meatloaf, potatoes, rolls, and salad. DELISH!!
Isn't it funny how at every family party, certain groups tend to migrate to each other?
The young adults:

The Parentals:

And then everyone else that seems to make up the young, cool crowd. Notice, I am not in this one....

Chloee has a grand time watching the fire, playing with Uncle Darrel's fedora, and hanging out with her dad.

We played our annual "White Elephant" exchange game. But there was a twist this year. If you were going to "steal" a gift, you had to do the gratitude dance first.
Corb was a good sport

Other than the yearly trauma of someone not getting a gift they really wanted, the night was a hit!
For us, it was race to the next event.....

All these pictures are so cute, I especially like Corbin's dance. It looks like hes got some skills both in doing the dance and in the kitchen. He's becoming such a good baker...even if he did break a bowl while trying to make pumpkin dessert.
