Thankful Thursday

It's hard to believe that Thursday has rolled around yet again. Actually, I am glad. Really. I am done with this week. Over it. Done.

However, I do have lot's to be thankful for:

That I don't live in Alaska. If I had to deal with snow and cold more months of the year than not, I might just slit my wrists. Winter? I am so over you!

Cafe Rio. Really, making the small adjustments that I do to my salad, I know it can't possibly be bad for me. I think it rates high on the healthy scale and probably should be eaten at least once a week.

That WJ is in the state basketball finals! Great game last night and looking forward to Friday night. Hope we get PG...... fun times!

That Splenda will laugh at me. Most of the time I embarrass him and there is a lot of eye-rolling that happens. Sweet, quiet, conservative dude that he is, that when I can get him to laugh, it makes my whole day!

And finally, for EVERYONE who reads this on-line journal of my rambling thoughts and vents, and giggles, and STILL takes the time to comment. Really, why do comments feel so good to us? You know exactly what I mean. It's sad that it's so validating to my self esteem, but the fact is, it does validate me. I even enjoy the buddy who doesn't post a comment, but tells me his observations in the morning at the gym. I love hearing what you all think and have to say and enjoy laughing at everyone's witty comments. Thank You!

What are you thankful for today?

Great list. I am thankful that I met my son's girlfriends mother and we click like no ones business. What a blessing that is.

Comments are like a big tall glass of Monster.

This'll be good for me because I'm feeling a lot of not-so-thankful-fors right now. Hmmm.

I'm thankful when I pick up my girls from Mutual and they are all giddy and happy. That warms my heart big time.

I am thankful for the return of winter. That spring like weather was just getting to be way too much. All sunshine and happiness. Puh-leez!

Just kidding!

I am thankful that we get to listen to the histrionics and dramatics of Tatianna on Idol for one more night. She is fantastic.

Seriously, I am thankful that you know templates and can help me out when I'm in a pinch. You are the bestest work bff EVER!

I am also thankful for the Slang Gang Word of the Day.

Ok, I'll shut up now.

I am really, really sad about the fact that the closest Cafe Rio to my house is a 45 minute drive away. My stomach is growling RIGHT NOW. I don't want to have to wait.

I love the Slang Gang Words of the Day too. Thanks for sludging through the smut to give us the cool words. I might be cool one day, after learning these vocab words.

I'll admit it...I'm a comment ho...but the funnest part is reading them and LAUGHING...there are some seriously funny people out there. And I get a kick out of the stuff they say. I even like reading other peoples comments. I need a life...I know.

PG got beat out BOOO! (at least I think that's what I heard this morning on KSL sports) So no game against the Vikings.

I'm pretty over winter as well.

I love me some comments too. Especially how they fill up my inbox. I love to get email. Even when it's not really meant for me ;)

I hope you DO get PG! We'll kick your sissy little Jaguar butts! Hello! We're not Pioneers or Darts. We're Vikings. We eat Jaguars for breakfast!
Seriously tho, good luck to your boys! I love that you still go to the games even tho you don't have a child on the team. We wanna get into doing that here in PG! Good for community pride!
