Slang Gang Word of the Day
Facebookemon
The term used for the collection of people, on your Facebook friends list, that you don't actually talk to or know in real life. Related to popular TV program and game Pokemon, where the aim is to collect as many different Pocket Monsters as possible.
Dave - "Hey, my friends collection is getting up to two hundred"
Steve - "How many do you really know? go admit it, most of them are Facebookemon"
John - "Gotta catch em all, gotta catch em all"

I definitely know a few people like this.
ha!
i joke with my friend all the time about our friends who like to "collect people" on facebook.
this is hillarious!
I think I'm actually even more embarrassed that I understand the comparison to Pokemon (thanks to being a mother to a 10 year old boy)...but at least I can say I have NO Facebookemon...never got into the whole facebook craze! =)
Facebook kinda sucks. Ain't gonna lie.
I only have two facebookmon. The rest I really do know and have talked to at one time or another.
NICE! I will have to incorporate this one as well. :)
I am proud to say that I have no facebookemon. However, some of the folks are strictly internet friends that I email or chat with. But then again, my friend list is like 26 or some pathetic (in Facebook terms) small, but true to life number.
