Shout out to Best Western - Abbey Inn of St George

Um, yeah so big props to Russ and the folks at the Best Western Abbey Inn of St George!
Okay, I stay here every time I come for work. And I've been coming down 11 years now. Currently I come about every other month so the folks here know me quite well. S\It's sad, when I sometimes don't even have to give them my name.

Anyhoo....I am checking in this afternoon and big Russ says, "Okay we have you in a suite in the building across the way, where you were last time."
Me: "Oh no dude! The wireless doesn't work over there."
BR: "Well, can't you plug in with the ethernet cord?"
Me" "Yeah, but what's the point of a LAPtop if you have to plug in and sit at the desk which, by the way, is NOT ergonomically friendly. I'm just saying, no bueno."
BR: "What would you like to do?"
Me: "Can't you just put me in a regular room over here where the wireless works?"
BR: " Sure, I'm sure someone else would LOVE to have your suite." He starts tap tapping his computer. Looks up at me with a glint in his eye.
BR: "How adventurous are you feeling? Notice the glint in my eye."
Me: "Depends, if by adventurous you mean 8 year old's on spring break jumping on the beds at 11:00 at night, then nope, no adventure."
BR: "Tell ya what I'm going to do. I'm going to put you in one of our anniversary suites for the 4 nights you are here, because I am sure I can't sell them, and I'll give you the same rate. Would that work?"
Me: (snicker). "Sure, let's do that."
BR: "They were just remodeled and the decor has changed. Some people love it, some hate it, so can you do me a favor and call me when you get settled and let me know what you think?"
Me: (snickering some more) "Suuuuuuurrrrrrrreeee."

Oh.My.Heck.
I walk in, on the third floor mind you - nice and quiet, and behold a beautiful room. Starting with a king size bed.

Fireplace and VERY large flat screen TV

Heart shaped jacuzzi tub a few steps away from the bed and within viewing of the TV

Large, spacious two-man shower

And this little number in the middle of the floor
Yes, this is an animal pelt. I don't know exactly what animal it is, and frankly, I don't care. It's soft on my feet and looks cool.
Of course, there is a fridge, and microwave but that's standard with all their rooms.

Russ and the staff at BW Abbey Inn - you have outdone yourselves! Way to take care of me!

The only downside? No Splenda to enjoy this with me. I'll be enjoying the full hot breakfast solo and maybe, just for fun, I'll roll around on this animal pelt. Just for kicks and giggles......

Oh, Wow! That is quite the room. Aren't you the lucky one.

I think that if it were me, I might have to give that big ol' tub a whirl.

I LOVE the Best Western Abby Inn!!! And that room looks to die for. Although I'm not sold on the animal pelt on the floor. Especially if I don't know what exactly that animal is.

You and I could totalllllly snuggle up in that tub. (In our bathing suits of course!)

I am jealous.

Roll around on that pelt for me.

I was just wondering how many people have rolled around on that pelt in the honeymoon suite.

That heart tub reminds me of Dumb and Dumber & that pelt might ruin 'the mood' for me :-)
