Monday - Missionary Update

Subject: WUT UP!

Familia,

(If you guys could throw me an emial back to make sure that you guys got the email, that would be great, thanks!)

What up fam? How are things going for you guys? Alright I am just going to cut to the chase, what the heck! A freaking Mustang??? Wow seriously that is way awesome. Totoally caught me by suprise. Honestly I thought that you were going to wait dad until after we all move out and stuff but wow, that is way cool. And yes I did get a glimpse of Kasey escaping again haha. So did you sell your car to get the Mustang or what? And how much did it cost? Its good also to see that Silver Bullet is still in good shape!

Alright, Genereal Conferene. Wow, Im tellin ya, one of the best that I have seen for a while. Especially Elder Holland. Seroiusly he has got to be my favorite apostel. Just the way that he talks and his veiw on the sctiptures is freaking awesome. But overall it was good. I actually got to watch part of it in English which made it even better. Normally, what happens, is we all get together in the chapel and we watch it through satilite. There is a translator that translates it into spanish. Its not as good in spanish, but still it gets the same message out there.

I am going to try to got to Osorno today to get a good jacket that I want. I am not sure how much it will cost. The first jacket that I got, was about 60 bucks, and it was a nice one. This time I am not sure. What I have been using for a jacket for right now is the rain jacket. It works, but I am sure that it would be a lot better with a jacket that is actually made for the cold! If I go down there, I will probably buy a P day shirt also. But it would be nice also if you could send me one...  If not dont worry about it. But if you are going to send me one, you might as well send me two, and if you can send me two, maybe you could send me the polo shirt, or I mean the golf shirt that I had. That would rock. Also the CD´s would be sweet too! So if you want, go ahead and send em!

To answer your question dad.......what am I eating? Haha well just to sum it up. Some of the foods here are hard to explain, others, are kinda just.....gross. For example, the other day, about a week ago, the mamita cooked.....cows stomach. It wasnt that bad actually, with some hot sauce, it was good. After that, she cooked, pigs foot......and that one, I had to CHOKE down. But in the house, I get to choose what I eat. French Toast in the morning, in the night, some noodles, spagetti, alfredo, grilled chees sanwich. In fact I am going to send you a pick of last night, I decided to cook some Corocoqueso. Its like alfredo, but with cheese. It was sooo good, but I dont think that it was the best for my stomach, or something went wrong, because this morning I had dirahrea. Soooo I dont think that I will be cooking that again haha..... But basically, that kidna stuff I am eating. Lots of fruits, and bread, with EVERY meal.

Things are going great down here, in fact, I am loving this place and my comp. We get along great and the work really is Progressing. We had interviews the last Friday with the Pres. And he mentioned that he was impressed with the way that we have improved the sector. That is always good news!! Seroiusly this next transfer, I think that I am heading out. I am going to have 6 months here in the sector coming up soon, so I think that I am heading out, but ya never know. Transfers are the 22nd of April. Daniela is doing GREAT!! She has almost read the whole BOM and is inviting her friends to go to chruch and stuff. It is incredible. She would already be baptized, but she lives in Santiago, and where she is at there isnt a lot of missionaries. Kinda a bummer, BUT she has a sister here that we are sharing with. Her name is Vanessa. She is incredible!! The last time that we visited her, she told us that she got an answer to her prayer and she knows the chruch is true. She is going to be baptized the 9th of May. Now the big thing would be getting her dad to share. He doesnt want anything at all, and is almost never home. But her mom is sharing with the missionaries and soon to be baptized haha. Even though I might not be able to see the baptisms myself, but I have done what the Lord wanted me to do, and I am happy with that.

Aight fam, loved getting the letters and pics, and look foward to hearing from you guys again. I love you guys sooo much!! Have a great week!!

Elder Catmull

He had a whole other section addressed to a friend. I badly wanted to post it, but maybe next week if he says it's okay....

That's the kind of diet I need - cow's stomach. I'd turn bullemic.

My husband served in Venezuela and they had a nasty dish like that called Mundungo (sp?). I've seen it as a soup here in the states and it made me want to throw up!

I know those poor elders don't want to offend the people, but yuck!
