Splenda's niece K and her husband R recieved their endowments in the Salt Lake Temple Saturday afternoon. It was a privilege to be invited to attend and be a part of it.
Whenever I am in a session where someone is recieving their own endowments, I always think back to my own first time. It's different. It's amazing. It can never fully be explained. I don't know that I will ever completely understand it in this life. I wish everyone could experience the happiness that comes from the Temple.
Afterwards, there were of course some photo's to be taken. Splenda and I were in a rush, but we were able to brave the chilly temps for a few shots.
Next up for K and R??
Sealing in the San Diego Temple next Friday!
Can't wait for that, and the road trip that comes with it!

WOW, what beautiful pics with the sun behind the steeples (do you call them that?). And you look AWESOMELY tanned. The trip looks like it was worth it.
I'm jealous. I've always wanted to go in the San Deigo temple. It's so beautiful on the outside. When I lived in SD I wasn't endowed yet. Bummer. Can I stow away in your suitcase?
What a neat time in their lives! And I love how it helps us reflect on our own experiences too.
