Cancun - day 3 No judging please

Let me preface day 3 with a warning.  Don't judge me.  Mmmkthnks.

Why am I sensitive to this?  Understand that no matter what a woman's body looks like, she will never feel like it's good enough.  The thinnest person will find fault somewhere.  The most healthy person will find something lacking.  A large person will find things to be unhappy about.  That is the fact of life.  When someone expresses displeasure with themselves, it does NO GOOD to say something like "Jeez, what are you complaining about, you look great."  Because even though the rest of the world may see them that way, the person themselves could very likely have a very skewed body image.

Now.  Just because I choose to exercise on my vacation, I do NOT want to catch any guff.  You can suck it, if you think I'm crazy.  Because even though, yes I am nuts, I am comfortable there, so back off.  The end.

Day three started with me at the gym pounding some miles on the treadmill.  Once done, I swapped my workout clothes for a bathing suit and headed to the beach.  I got our area all set up and enjoyed myself all alone for an hour or so before everyone else starting wandering down.  That is the nice thing about this kind of vacation.  Everyone can do their own thing on their own time.

Unfortunately early in the afternoon some clouds rolled in.  We packed up and headed back to the villa to shower, read, rest, or in the G and Luka's case, go to the mall.

Now some things to keep in mind while in Cancun.  It is very humid, so the amount of moisturizer one needs is significantly reduced.  Good thing.
If you have any kind of natural curl to your hair, it will become one big frizzy mess.  Bad thing.

Tuffy was exhausted and crashed on the deck.

Splenda and I played around with the camera.  The resort is just as beautful at night!

TNT walked to the mall for steak at Ruth Chris's steakhouse, the rest of us hopped a bus to have dinner at Bubba Gump Shrimp place.

bus ride = scary!

 It was DELIGHTFUL!

shrimp scampi - YUM!

I think the boys liked the Corona girls who came by trying to get them to chug Corona's.  : )

It was then time to board the bus for the quick ride back to our villa.  Note to self.  It's hard to get a clear shot, when the bus is moving so erratically.

Tuffy was too tired to join us, so here it is now 10pm Cancun time and we are sitting in the sports bar (the wifi) and he's ordering dinner.

'sokay, right?  It's his vacation!

Tommorrow?   Try to get as much beach time if possible since the forecast calls for possible showers, and then SHOPPING!

Hasta manyana mi amigos!

First - I don't recognize you anymore. Didn't you used to be white?

Second - good on ya for working out. I would never judge you. It is one of the reasons I love you so much.

Third - I will validate you. Since you validate me. We are both big fat cows and we should be at the gym 24 hours a day. 7 days a week.

I only wish I look that bad in a bathing suit. You all look like your having a ball.

3. I am slightly jealous of all that beach time.

4. I would never judge you. Mock openly, yes, but judge, no.

Hello Melissa! I am so glad you "stalked" my blog. . .isn't that the best? Can I just say JEALOUS!!! I wish I were on the beach right now! Also, kudos to you all for the church attendance, really, I am proud! It sounds like you are having a great time. Where do you stay when you go to Cancun? My parents went a couple years ago and LOVED it. . .Andrew and I could REALLY use a getaway! Have fun!

Hahaha...the beer girls. My husband worked in Mexico for a year and he was always telling me about the beer girls. I guess they hang around the grocery stores in bikinis and short skirts too, trying to get you to buy their brand of beer. Crazy! Like Hooters on the go!
