Thankful Thursday

I'm struggling this week - only because of the funk I'm in. No worries, I'll be better soon......

I am thankful for Chilean mama's that will love and nurture my son while I am thousands and thousands of miles away. Did I mention he's really far away? And that he's cold. And wet. And almost killed himself twice while trying to keep warm? And that he's really far away?

I am thankful for my little Jordan. Whose soft fur, loving cuddles and complete devotion to me raises my spirits and soothes my soul.

I am thankful for the fact that it's Thursday and that means that I only have 4 more days of the pager left. I'm really thankful that I didn't actually huck it at the window when I desperately wanted to. A broken window would have really ticked off Sugar Daddy.

I am thankful that there are only 4 more days until the Shark returns.

I am thankful that at least for the next several nights there is either something good on TV (SYTYCD) or other activities (book signing; swim party) so that I have something to look forward to after work instead of moping that I can't work out.

I am thankful that I can at least indulge in caffeine free diet coke with three shots of vanilla during this "rest" period. Bubbles = happiness.

What are you thankful for today?

Good luck with it all and I hope you feel a little perkier on the return of the shark.

Bubbles do often = happiness.

I was wondering when The Shark was going to be back.

I am thankful for the laundry cabinets Luvpilot is installing for me this week. I may just end up liking doing laundry.

That Shark better hurry it up.

Wow, this quickly turned into sharkbait territory - I'm sure she'll be flattered.
But back to you.
Your son is not only being looked after by a wonderful chilean mamacita, but a very loving father that wants your son to learn every lesson that he can down there. He's doing so great, too!

As far as the pager goes, drop it in the toilet - it happens all the time. Then take your time calling the guy that will replace it...

I tried to comment on your post yesterday to tell you how proud I am that you are going off coke, but my computer sucks.
But then, I read this post and it says you still drink it. What gives?
I wanna coke so bad I might "eat my face off"

I too drink caffeine free diet coke once in a while (trying to get off cabonation)..but I have never tried using vanilla in it.

Today as I took the "stinking" garbage to the curb....I thought for a split second how grateful I was to have men who come to my house and pick up all that garbage.

hugs to you and your missionary♥

I'm thankful for a little three-year old who after violently vomiting in the popcorn bowl, looks as me and says, "Gran I think I need a blessing."
