Tickle Me Pink Tuesday & a little Ticked Too version

I haven't done this version for awhile, and well, that is how I'm rollin these days:

I am tickled pink that I don't have the piggy flu!
But I am TICKED that the Shark is sick. Really! We've had to reschedule our GNO like 3 times now, and I'm getting a little bugged! Stupid oink oink flu.

I am tickled pink that my job is flexible enough that I can work from home while I am fighting this back crap.
But I am TICKED that someone hasn't invented a way for me to lay flat in bed and work on the laptop. Could someone get on that? You'd make millions.

I am tickled pink with the change back to standard time. This is how my body grooves. This is me. This is my internal clock.
But I am TICKED that come next spring, I have to go through the whole "spring forward" and never feel right until we "fall back" again.

I am tickled pink that I have such a self-sufficient son. He is more than capable of taking care of himself and his needs.
But I am TICKED that when he makes a run to Wendy's for dinner, I get no invite. For reals dude?

I am tickled pink that I can exercise still. A little (work with me here).
But I am TICKED that I am stuck in the pool. I believe I am starting to reek of chlorine. It ain't pretty. Soon I may end up being one big toxic cloud of chlorine.

And finally, I am tickled pink that I came home from a doctor's appointment today to a bag on my door with this: (What the crap? Why does it load right and then post crooked? arrrgh)

I've sung DD's praises before. And she never ceases to amaze me with her thoughfulness! I shall treasure my "bubby" forever. Let's name her..........

and with that, I got NOTHING to be ticked off about!

PS - DD's house has already sold. I guess you lost your chance to be my neighbor....

I hate the time change in the fall. I much prefer to lose an hour than gain one. And saying that I am probably the only person in the world who feels that way...ha ha!

I too am loving the time change. It kills me in the spring though. I can't adjust for about a month.

The time change doesn't bother me - am I weird. Even here in Idaho where we really should be on PST because it stays light until 10:30 in the summer. I love the dark of the winter though - I know I am strange.
The Bubby is SO cute - How fun to come home to a gift on your doorstep!!!!

Move to AZ and you don't have to deal with that whole time changey thing. And you can come swim in my pool. It's salt so we don't use a lot of chlorine. There, two problems solved with one move.

So... I'm a swimmer. My preferred method of exercise is in the pool. Lucky for me, our fitness center has a saline pool that doesn't reek of chlorine. I do remember though, when I swam in high school and college, it didn't matter how many times I showered. When my skin got wet, even just something as small as a raindrop, I could smell the chlorine coming off my skin.

And, I'm so with you on working on laptops while flat on the back. How awesome would that be?!

There was a time change?

Maybe that's why I've been an hour late to everything lately.

Sniff... I was all laughing and giggly and then Debbi's sweetness got the better of me. And I have no tissues.

She's a keeper, that Debbi. Enjoy your bubby.

P.S. I love fall back. It too is my internal clock.
