Thankful Thursday

Somehow, here it is Thursday AGAIN!
And once AGAIN, I have much to be thankful for.......

A wise Splenda Daddy. Serious. Dude has always been so good with our money, and while I openly rebel sometimes at a "budget", I am uber grateful that he has been there to keep me in check and to make sure that we have made wise financial decisions.

Crisp red delicious apples. I know, weird huh? Scored a delightful bag of them the other day, and they are a delight. The perfect snack for when I am starvin!

Text messaging. Really, what did we do before this techno miracle? I love that I can sit in my bed upstairs and text downstairs to Tuffy. Or be at the Chili's take out and text him to double check his order. Constant and instant communication is the ticket!

Summer almost being here. The temps have been great for running/biking outdoors. Lah, lah LOVE it! I even love it when it's wicked hot, so the fact that it will only get warmer, just makes my heart sing!

Iceberg milk shakes. The Shark was talking about them last week, and once I fixate on something, I just.won't.let.it.die. I HAD to have one and I'm telling you, it was better than crack. Not that I know what crack is like, but let's just say, it was AWESOME. Now, how to keep that fixation beast at bay.....mmmmmm chocolate peanut butter......

Speaking of the Shark - her motivation, grit, determination, sarcasm, humor, and the fact that she has cool pictures on her blog that Sissy loves to look at and say "owie, owie". She makes going to the gym fun.

Chaditude. 'Nuff said.

What are you thankful for today?

**And Kristina P if your torment me by saying Cafe Rio for lunch again, I just might slap you in your snuggie (jk) : )

No more with the Iceberg shakes. You're killing me!

I am thankful my shorts fell off me yesterday.

They closed the Iceberg here in P-town. It was like a knife to my heart.

Getting to see you in all your sweaty glory as you come pushing Patrick the Purple Road Eater into the office after a nice ride into work.

Finally, someone else who is enjoying the warm weather and is looking forward to it being warmer!
Yay!
And it's been years since I've had an Iceberg shake. Now I think I need one.

I'm thankful that my kids will not be attending a year round school this coming year. This means we get an entire summer with them!! (and without having to worry about homework:0) I'm so excited to be able to have a fun relaxing summer instead of having to cram an entire summer's worth of activities into three short weeks.

This might make you feel better! I am moving offices for the summer, and there is no Cafe Rio close by!!! Fortunately, I still live 3 minutes away from one, so I might have to have Cafe Rio for lunch AND dinner.

Did someone say Iceberg? They speaka my language. None of this arctic circle shake crap - they dont know how to ice the cream. Chocolate with butterfinger or mini marshmallows? Anything with peanut butter, and of course their new fried zucchini is HEAVEN. Bliss I tell you.

Love the list!
