Yeah, I'm late. Was a little busy last weekend......
Subject: I had a feeling...
Family,
Well I actually had the feeling that you guys were going to forget so no to worry, I kinda expected it haha. I am still trying to get used to this Saturday thing, so not to worry, I understand complety. I am sure that things are going good up there were you guys are, being how I just talked to you guys last Sunday. That was really cool I am not going to lie. I really enjoyed talking to you guys and I am sure you guys enjoyed it also. It just reminded me of how much time I have left on the mission, and its not a lot. We are getting there....
Apart of that, things are going great here. Normal work, rain, and cold. Things are getting better with that though. I went and bought another tank of gas so that we wouldnt run out. If we run out completly of gas, we will have to shower with cold water and I am not up for that. I hope that you dont mind, but if I need to, I will use the money that you guys are putting in for me to buy one if we need to. I am a lot more prepared for this winter I will tell ya that for sure. Now that I got waterproof pants, I am good to go. I use that, my jacket, and my boots, and I stay completly dry. If only I had this last winter haha.....
I think that we are going to go to the office today to see if we got the packages. I am pretty sure that they came in so all we got to do is pick em up.Thanks again for sending me them I really apreciate that. Oh good news! I did find out last night that here in Osorno they have a store called Jumbo. They sell american stuff here like, Skittles, Peantut Butter, Snickers, and other stuff like that. Today we are going to go shopping there cause I am missig some peanut butter sandwiches haha. They also have pizza. The last Pday I went and bought a medium pizza and ate it all. All I needed was ranch.....
Anyway that is all that is going on here. Nothing big is changing. My last class went really well, I was suprised, and it really seems to be helping out the missionaries here cause we are improving. Well fam, I love you guys and miss ya. Have a good week, and DONT FORGET THAT ITS SATURDAY WHEN I USE INTERNET HAHAHA.
Elder Catmull
To say I feel absolutley sick to my stomach that I forgot to email him is an understatment. Friday got so busy, I spaced it right off. Splenda remembered early Saturday morning and fired something off, but he obviously didn't get it before he sent this one. WE SUCK! I am hoping that the packages were there so at least he had something from home this week........
Their flea-ridden dog that lives there and follows them around.
His house
Sipping his matay. It's there hot, herbal drink that he now LOVES. I'm told though, it takes like weeds.

I thought they outlawed matay for missionaries. Or maybe they re-in-lawed it? My brother drank it on his mish, but I heard that sometime after that the Church said it was a WofW no-no?
p.s. Either way, it tastes GA-ROSS. My bro brought some home and, well, it must be an accquired taste. In the same way that poop is.
Love posts like this :)
Mmmm....hot weeds. I think I have some of those in my back yard.
It must be like Kava..(island ceremony drink).. Gaaarrroosss!!!!
brave boy you got there!!!
LOL! Russ got in trouble having maytay on base in the open and
YES it does like like weed and the caffeine content is out of this world. In fact we had a discussion about it on missions just this week. The latest was it was a recommended no no and it what kind of people are commanded in all things? :)
miss you!!
Sounds like he is doing well! I love the picture of him on the phone.
I heard it taste like chicken :)
How fun. Love the green walls. Well sorta not.
hey his place looks fun, like a fort my kids wouldlove to play in....that stair case would be the best part!
...looks like I'm switching my coffee addiction to Matay! Wonder if I can order that down at Starbucks! =)
So glad he is doing well - I can't believe you forgot to write him!! I will remind you this friday!!
He is so handsome :)
i wonder if the pizza he ate was quite a bit different from our pizza here.....in romania we were thrilled to find pizza there and scarfed it down, but hindsight looking back it really is quite a bit different than pizza here. those stairs in his house are pretty cool....and that drink makes me think of gagging ;) hey, don't feel too bad about forgetting saturday (although I would've been the same way), but honestly I was just barely thinking what an AWESOME set of missionary parents you and Dave have turned out to be. The way you support him and send him packages, and yeah, you just do FANTASTIC!!!! GOOD JOB!!!! remember the things you do right, not the things you forgot, then you'll find the things you do right are a WHOLE LOT more than you realized!!! love ya tons!!!
