I totally thought when he said the dog had the kittens for lunch it meant it ATE them for lunch!
Phew...glad I'm just a moron :-)
i too thought the dog was going to eat them.
but it turned out well- i just think he should have stated the beginning maybe differently.
loved it. isn't it great? instinct, are we humans below the animals?
in some cases, i am afraid the answer is yes, for some people.

Aww...once a mother, always a mother.
Reminds me of my old dog when Taylor was born. She cuddled up next to him all the time, and if he woke up crying she would run and come and get me.
Love this video. And I've seen it in action: My husband's uncle had a dog that nursed a whole litter of kittens!
