January 2: Head Splinter
A painfully annoying song that gets stuck in your head, in extreme cases, impeding everyday tasks.
I've got "I don't feel like dancing" stuck in my head, it's a real head splinter!!

My 5 yo son has head splinters all day, which gives me head splinters.
Oh my gosh, I get head splinters SO BAD. I had one the other night that actually kept me awake. Every time I closed my eyes, the song would start up again and I couldn't shut it off!!! I'm glad I now have a good term for those kinds of songs.
lol my 1 year old goes around all day long singing. danta danta... :D you know the worst song in history "ho down, throw down" (hanna montana) if that dumb song gets in my head it is a horrible head splinter! tee hee
