January 2: Head Splinter
A painfully annoying song that gets stuck in your head, in extreme cases, impeding everyday tasks.
I've got "I don't feel like dancing" stuck in my head, it's a real head splinter!!
**"Momma's don't let your babies grow up to be cowboys! Don't let 'em pick guitars and drive them old trucks. Let 'em be doctors and lawyers and such." Yes, that is the head splinter in my head right now. HA HA - now it's in yours! "Momma's......"**
My 5 yo son has head splinters all day, which gives me head splinters.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I get head splinters SO BAD. I had one the other night that actually kept me awake. Every time I closed my eyes, the song would start up again and I couldn't shut it off!!! I'm glad I now have a good term for those kinds of songs.
