Grandma Joy served a mission several years ago in the Macon, Georgia mission.
She loved it and recently has felt the desire to serve again. She did all the necessary things to prepare and submitted her paperwork. She got a special envelope in the mail and we gathered as a family for her to open and find out where the Lord had called her to.
Washington DC Temple mission! How freaking awesome is that? Look out white house, she's a coming!
And I smell a family trip in 18 months to go "pick" her up! : )
