Beautiful Home for Sale in the southwestern part of the Salt Lake Valley in UT

Yup.  I put it out there in the title.  I heard that's good for google and searches.

You might remember this post?  When a bestie had her home for sale?  And I was crying about it because she was leaving?  I was begging for good neighbors?  Remember that one?

Yeah, well......you see......there was this small fire.  Okay a rather large fire the day they moved out.  Literally.  The moving truck was loaded.  There were some things in the garage to put into the car, and a stack of stuff for the DI.  They were set to close the next morning.  And due to an unusual set of circumstances, the next thing they knew, the freakin house was on fire!

Needless to say......the sale didn't go through.  Instead, they lived out of a hotel for several months while all the repair work was done.

The bad news - they lost out on their dream home they were buying.
The good news - the entire home that they now have back on the market is completely NEW.  Everything is brand spanking NEW!

Splenda and I toured it a couple of weekends ago before we all went out to dinner and I have to say, it is BEAUTIFUL.  Absolutely gorgeous.  The colors she has chosen for paint, the hardware, the lighting, it's all just so calming and soothing.

The carpeting is lush, the fixtures are the highest quality and the yard?  Don't even start me on the yard.  Meticulous.

Well, they are now back in the home selling market.  I had already come to terms that they were leaving us, so I don't have to revisit those sad feelings again, but I am freaking nervous about who will move in.  I need them to be great people.  People who will keep up the yard, the house, and be friendly.

Sooooo......if you are in the market or know someone who is - come check it out.

And really?  Who wouldn't want to live next to the M-Cat and her litter?  We are freakin OODLES of  fun!

  2. I asked Dave if he wanted to move to Utah. He said no.

    We'll be out next week.

Just kidding. I wish I had that much influence.

    BTW, do you have tornadoes?

  3. Great ... now you've increased my anxienty level ... our house goes up for sale in 2 days. I can't tell you the fun I'm anticipating when someone calls from the front of our house to say they want to see it now. I get to load up 3 kids, two dogs, and my mother who is here "helping" me and hope the house is clean ...

Only now I will also be freaking out over whether or not I turned off the stove ... because you just know they will call while I'm making fish for dinner.
