Wednesday's Wrandom Wrambling

I'm in St George and freezing.  For reals.  I don't know why they think they need to run the AC in the winter, but I've about had enough!  If I wanted to sit at work and be this cold, I would have stayed in SLC.  Even my toes are going numb.

Splenda Daddy suggested I get a massage.  Reason 5,291 that he is the bestest Splenda ever.

Yeah I said 'bestest'.  What of it?

I love the red dirt in southern Ut.  I love coming around the corner as I near St George on I-15 and seeing the red mesa's in the distance.  It's beautiful.  The city is growing and the people are so nice.  Once we get past this indoor temperature thing, I really feel like we could have a permanent relationship.

Is it sad that I miss my dog as much as I miss my family when I am away?

No, I didn't think so.

I turned on word verification and now I don't think it's working.  Lame.

I like February only because of the holidays and the fact that it is a short month.  If I could have 90 degree weather, it would be perfect.

Tuffy got asked to Sweethearts last night.  I wonder how he is going to answer.  Ideas?

I can't find it in me to watch American Idol.  What's wrong with me?  It's lost it's appeal.  Maybe I just need to buckle down, and sit through ONE episode.

I am missing mutual tonight.  I am not happy about it.  Not at all.

I am, however, happy that I can have whatever I want for dinner though.  All by myself.  Alone.  Solo.

I give up.  Can't do the cold room anymore.  Hotel..........  here I come, wifi better be ready for me.

  1. Bestest is one of the funnest words. duh.

    what is 'Sweetheart's'??

I hope you can suffer thru the AC to enjoy your dinner alone! I hate overly ACed places.

  2. I wouldn't even know where to begin with the sweethearts thing. You guys out there in the western part of the country do things weird. Around here, we say yes or no. Thats it.

missed you and now going back to read up.

  3. Yeah, not into AI either.

And I miss my dog sometimes more than Luvpilot (shhh..)

My parents have a condo in St. George so I spent many weeks there growing up. I probably was hanging out with Mindi and Amy and just didn't know it. It's the same thing in AZ with the a/c. People always aske me how I can stand the heat, but really every building you go into is freezing.

  5. I can't get into idol either. What to do without adorable drunk Paula around to blog mock?

Sorry you're alone without a band of girlies to spice up the night. Nothing like a rowdy bunch at Goodwood...

  8. Ironically, it took moving to Vegas to appreciate how GREEN St. George is! I know! It's crazy.

Sorry you're freezing. It was a beautiful, 60 degree day here in sin city. But I like the cold, so what do I know?

  9. Your in St. George. Have you ever wondered why it's called St. George...wasn't it settled by Mormons??
Yeah yeah, we are saints, (of the latter day kind) but we don't call our cities Saint.
    Saint Salt Lake.
    Saint Provo.
    just wondering.

take heart in knowing that even though your tootsies are cold, it's colder here. Feeeeel My pain.

  12. Love the wrandom wramblings! Very fun! I have two labs that have moved up in their world since the kids have all moved out! They think they are hot stuff. I'm sure my husband is positively jealous of them at times. But he problably wouldn't think much if I grabbed his cute little nose and talked baby talk to him :)

  13. St. George is a nice little city but I just picture it as always being HOT! Be sure and stop in Tai Pan Trading Co...my favorite store of all time. Do you ever go to the one in Utah (in Sandy, UT I think?)

I don't take the cold very well, especially AC cold! I always take a sweater with me everywhere ie., restaurants, shopping, etc. because they keep it so darn cold all the time!

Dinner, alone, in a hotel room, with wifi...I'd love it!

  14. Yes, it is bad that you miss your dog. Only because I can't stand my dogs but don't have the heart to get rid of them.

I like February, too!!! If you could arrange that 90 degree temp I'd be your personal slave for life!!!

And I'm pretty sure I'd sit naked in the snow if it meant I got to be alone for like a whole day and night.

(Not sit naked for the whole day. Just for like...an hour.)

I have WV on my blog...is that lame? How do I get rid of it? Do people hate that? I don't wanna be irritating people!

  15. Ha ... I spent 40+ years in California ... I don't like the hot or the cold ... I always want the weather to be perfect. I've been in Texas for 2 years and each March I start to get anxious when the first hot day comes ... there is no relief for 6 months from the hot, humid stuff ... not even at night.

Doesn't spam just prove that you're popular ??

  16. Nothin worse that freezin your tushy off inside!
Hubby Loves AI. I on the other hand listen from the other room and sit through an audition replay (like football) when requested to.

I am not sure what I would miss exactly being alone and far from home, but I am willing to give it a try!!:)

  18. no worries about AI- it's been an overload on sob stories anyhow....maybe it will get better after they sift through all the crazies....

i had my word verif on for 1 month and the minute i took it off- the span started up again...annoying!

st. george is beautiful! no other place like it!

i need someone to tell me to go get a massage!

  19. It's not just you. Even Simon Cowell can't take American Idol anymore and it's HIS show! (He's not coming back next season, I heard).

But I'm with you. I can make it through auditions (for the bad train wrecks) and sometimes Hollywood week. But I just can't make myself watch the rest.
