Thankful Thursday

I feel like it's been forever since I have done a thankful post. Long overdue.....

I am thankful for the chance I have to ride my bike to work. I know some won't understand or "get" that, but I.love.it! Out on the road, under my own steam, the challenge of sharing the road, being seen, and dodging "collar crushers" all just make it a fun and exhilarating experience for me. I love Tuesday's and Thursday's just for that reason!

I am thankful for July. Yep, the entire month. Patriotism rises, honor to heritage becomes forefront and it seems as if it's never ending parties. Two paid days off work, get togethers, races, hot-hot-hot weather, parades, fireworks, the cabin. July rocks!

I am thankful for my YW. As I left the house this morning in the dark on my bike, I could see more chalk love. They are so awesome! And what other calling in the church that I belong to has this kind of payback? I cried huge tears last time I was in and got released. I swore I wouldn't open my heart again, but these amazing girls just get me! I am head over heels......

I am thankful for Sugar Daddy (again, I call him this for ONE month in honor of my new eyes), is so good with our finances. Boy, the economy sure seems fra- jill- ee, and I am glad that he has made sure that we are as good as we can possibly be right now. We won't starve. We won't lose our home. Right now, we both have jobs. This damn Cap and Trade might affect things, but for now......

Speaking of new eyes. How could I not mention how thankful I am for them? I've carried on and on about them already, but really, I am loving it!!!

Anything in particular you are thankful for this fine, hot, July Thursday?

(thank you Martie for letting me lift the logo)

  2. Is it Thursday? Wow...where has this week gone?

I am thankful that it's only going to be 107 today instead of 114 (!!!!) like on Saturday.

I'm also thankful Luvpilot is home today. And that the jetski is running.

  5. Wow how cute of a banner is that? I like patriotic people. I dont think I am one because I didn't light one firework this year NOR did I get up and share my testimony of my gratitude for this country.
