Can you really love someone so much it hurts?

You are my sunshine, my only sunshine.
You make me happy, when skies are gray.
You'll never know dear, how much I love you.
Please don't take my sunshine away.......

Sissy,
You are always safe at Mimi's.  Mimi would die on the sword for you.  You are loved.  You are cherished.  You are the light of my life.  You bring love and happiness the minute you pull up in my driveway.  You are wrapped around your Poppa's and uncles fingers.  They would give you the moon.
I will never let anyone hurt you.  You are loved.  More than the sea.

  1. I am in love with the many faces of Sissy and I'm not even her Mimi. I can't wait to be old like you and have grandbabies. :)

  2. Yes it is indeed possible to Love someone so much it HURTS. But it is a good hurt actually.
Those grandkids are jewels of ours for sure. I miss mine so much I cry sometimes. I want to feel their hugs, and hear their giggles (even though I phone them regularily) I want to read them stories and sing songs with them.
I HURT somedays for the absence of them.
I HURT somedays for the difficulties my children go through, cause I love them so much.
and yet.....If I were to be away from my husband......I'd HURT then too, cause I love him so much.
Love and hurt got together I guess. But it is a hurt we wouldn't go without isn't it.

SHE IS A DOLL and lucky to have you as her grandma.

  7. Ya you can!
I think every gramma has that gene built into her. The "you're gonna luv 'em so much" gene.

    She is absolutely darling.
