Wedding fun.....Bridal shower numero Uno

Montana's aunt and I decided to host a family bridal shower.  Just the two families, a chance to get together, meet and get to know each other.  It's been several weeks in the making and, not gonna lie, I am glad to have this checked off my list.  I really didn't do any work, other than host it at my house.  Splenda made the chicken salad, and then Montana's aunts did the rest!  Easy peasy for me eh?  Okay, I may or may not have put together a thank you favor, but even that came in a kit  SHEESH, don't get any ideas about me and "crafting", I got a reputation to uphold  : )

'tana's sisters, friend and cousin decorated.  So cute - they did such a great job!!

The thank you favors.  Simple box with some purple confetti paper and Hershey's kisses.  Her colors are purple and silver, so they were perfect.  It got a little dicey with tying bows...but I prevailed

All set up and waiting for guests

A full house

Montana and her BFF Mitzi (of course Jordan needs to be on her lap)

Bow chicka wow wow!!  Love the fact that her fam gives her lingerie - exactly my own tradition!!

Aunt Karen, myself and Montana's mom Dana - love these girls!

We both love this girl!!

Next up, a ward/friend shower.......PARTIES!!  So much fun!

  7. I was really worried about you when I saw on FB that you were at the craft store. I wasn't sure you'd make it out alive. Glad that you did, and with party favors no less. Wow...the big day is almost here!

  8. So glad it was such a success. I think you are more crafty than you ever give yourself credit. I once burned off 2 layers of skin with a hot glue gun and swore of crafty crap.

ps - I'm majorly digging the hair! too cute!

  10. Personally, I liked the dress code for this shower. My kind of apparel! Next up, I liked the lingerie. I did that to my daughter. She was embarrassed. I loved it. 3rd, purple and silver sounds so elegant. Sounds like a fun time!
