Wednesday's Wrandon Wrambling

I love Wednesday's.  Really I do.  A little bit more of a casual day, but generally more productive than the rest.  Does that make sense?  And by the time the day is done, it's now inching ever closer to the weekend.

I am helping to host a baby shower this weekend.  I have no idea what I need to do.  I don't want my friend to be stuck with the burden, and yet, I am so out of ideas.  Not that I ever had any great ones anyway.  Creativity is not my game.  I just need to be told what to do, and I'm all over it.

Tis the seasons for weddings to begin eh?  Three in the next month.  I love a good wedding.  Simple yet fun.  I'm not  fan of the super stuffy and official gatherings.  I like to come, park myself for awhile and enjoy chatting with friends and family.  I love to watch the end where the couple cuts the cake, dances their first dance and heads out the door to handfuls of rice or bubbles.

Today is the anniversary of the stimulus act passed.  I'm not feeling very stimulated.  Are you?

I need another book to read. The Reader's Digest magazine just isn't cutting it.

I bought some cinnamon bears on Monday because I thought they sounded really good.  I opened them last night and ate some.  I remembered I was sick of them.  Crap.

I'm like that.  I will fixate on a treat for awhile, having it as much as possible and then get sick of it, never craving it again.  Chewy Sprees, Milkduds, Cinnamon Bears, Chocolate licorice.  Sugar Babies. Ding dongs.  I should get a grip.

We cleaned out Sissy's toys on Monday.  Funny how you tend to get carried away with the grandkids.  I was never quite as generous with my own boys.  I'm sure they are feeling really gypped.

March 6th just can.not. come soon enough.

  1. Um, nope! Not so stimulated.

I think I've pretty much od'd on cinnamon bears too for awhile.

I am loving my Kindle just for the fact that when I run out of books, I can instantly download another wherever I happen to be. I think Splenda should get you one.

  3. i am far from stimulated.

I think you would really like Firefly Lane by Kristen Hannah. It is a tear jerker but awesome for someone our age to read.

  5. Look on Goodreads. My name is Nancy228, I think. Just read Briar Rose. Big two thumbs down. Loved The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. Quite enjoyed Half Broke Wild Horses. For adventure, try Into Thin Air.
