April 30: Aisle SalmonThe act of moving in the opposite direction of everyone else using the aisle. While they can be spotted in any type of aisle, they are frequently seen on airlines during loading and deplaning.
Did you see the 'aisle salmon' trying to work his way back five rows to get a roller bag our of the overhead while everyone was trying to get off the plane?**I'm pretty sure this also applies to those people who drive the WRONG WAY in parking lots.
That's how I feel when I am trying to exit the chapel trying to get to the Primary room ahead of all the teachers and kids. So funny!

This is definitely a phrase I'm working into my vocabulary.
ReplyDeleteGirl! You are a blogging fool. I've been scrolling your blog for a half an hour looking for the just the right picture to insert into The Macheen. I haven't even reach Jan09 yet!
ReplyDeletePaula may dance like there's no tomorrow, but you blog like there's no tomorrow.
One I will absolutly be using in the future!....NYC often feels like the aisle salmon spawning ground! =)
ReplyDeleteSomehow I am always the person doing the "aisle salmon" thing at the supermarket. If you start at the beginning, everyone should be going the same way....but I tend to skip aisles and then I'm facing everyone coming in the opposite direction.
ReplyDeleteHate aisle salmons!! Hate hate hate them!
