Wha? Huh?
Yeah, I realize that the title of this post didn't make sense, nor is grammatically correct, but whatevah, I got your attention didn't I?
The beloved, first time author who brought us "Finding Faith",, is now pleased to announce the release of her second in the series "Having Hope"
In her words, "My editor emailed back and said "Having Hope" should be in the warehouse any day now. It will take a few weeks to show up in all stores. Of course, people will be able to get it directly from me (autographed and at a special promo price even!) as soon as it is in my hot little hands"
About the author Terri Ferran: She is my favorite SIL who has always wanted to be an author. She finally took a leap of faith a couple of years ago and look what has happened! Not only a second in her trilogy now ready for release, but another fun little ditty called "Alphabet Soup: A Crock of Wit from A to Z" is on it's way. You can check her website here for more personal details.
If you are interested in more deets on the books, feel free to email me melissa.catmull@yahoo.com and I can hook you up! She also enjoys speaking at homemaking meetings, or other women get-together functions.
My review:
I LOVED "Finding Faith". I LOVED the draft I read of "Having Hope" and can't wait to see the finished product, and LOVED the draft for "Alphabet Soup.." which is scheduled to be released in August.
I'm so incredibly proud of her and her achievements. She really is the epitome of "following your dreams". She inspires me! Yeah for you my sistah from another mistah!
PS - You can totally tell that I am NOT a writer right? I cringe to think how many errors there are just in THIS post. Whatevah - sue me! Terri's her name, writing's her game, Melissa's my name and my writing is lame......
That's awesome! I haven't read her book, but I WILL check into it. That's really a noble and wonderful thing for your SIL. Thanks for your sweet comments on my posts.
ReplyDeleteWhat's the book about? What is the genre, etc?
ReplyDeleteOoops, forgot to check that box that lets me know if you respond. You better respond, now that I took ALL this extra time to go back and check that box!
ReplyDeleteShoot. I got so excited to publish my comment that I didn't check the box. I'm a moron. I'm sorry. I know I'm rambling now in an attempt to cover up my idiocy. signing out. WILL check the box this time.
ReplyDeleteChecked it. Just thought you might want to know. (No, I am not bored. Why do you ask?)
ReplyDeleteHow cool is that? I will have to check them out.
ReplyDeletehow exciting!
ReplyDeleteI'll have to check it out =)
thank you soooo much for the super sweet comments you've left for me lately...my blog friends are the best!
Omgirl - the genre is LDS fiction. Sort of romance with being cheesy, spirituall uplifting. The first book is about Kit finding herself and her faith. The second takes her story even further.
ReplyDeleteI'm not generally a fan of LDS romance or fiction. Anits Stansfield makes me want to throw up. But this is different. Can't really explain how, but different. I don't want to throw up. How's that?
Here's another shout out to the very talented author Terri Ferran. I LOVED her first book and will be first in line to get her second one. She inspires me too! As far as blog authors go, the fabulous Melissa is my fav!
ReplyDeleteTHIS IS JUST TOO AWESOME FOR WORDS! Congrats to you for having such a talented SIL! ♥ Thanks for the heads up about it!
ReplyDeleteHaHa M! You said, and I quote "sort of romance WITH being cheesy..." (caps added for emphasis). I think you meant "without" being cheesy. At least that's how I'm taking it!
ReplyDeleteMy hands are SO freakin' hot that the book with be in them TOMORROW!
Thanks for the shout out, the great compliments, and all the Diet Coke! I love ya man! I mean WOMAN!
I did mean to say NOT cheesy! We all know how I feel about cheese itself and rainbows, unicorns, butterflys and the stupid like. BLECH!
