So, the publisher of Utah Running Marathon magazine contacted me after THIS post and asked if it could be part of their next quarter's publication. Uh......YEAH!
I tried to whittle it down, and did the best I could so the article is more condensed - I finally gave her what I could and told her to edit as she saw fit.
She left every word.

Well they finally discovered the gem of a writer that's been all ours for years. We will gladly share. I loved it.
